Last time we’ve discussed how to stay fit and healthy, reduce stress and stop procrastinating. Today, we’re going to talk about how to be more organized, learn to cook and travel more.


1. Be more organized.

You came home in a pretty good mood. Then you saw the toys, shoes or books scattering here and there, which supposed to be tidied up a long time ago. Don’t you hate that ruined your day? If you want to become more organized, good for you! Below are some tips that will help you achieve your resolution.

(1) Create homes for your things. By keeping them in a specific location, you’ll know where to store them when you finish using them, and will find them with ease when you want to use them. Keep the frequently used items such as your purse or bag within easy reach. Put those seasonal items away to make way for the everyday items.

(2) Make good use of organizers. People living in a small house are less likely to afford clutter. Space is limited, but you could always find ways to make the most out of it. The most economic and practical tool is organizer, which can be placed on the shelf, under the bed, in the closet, etc.

(3)Say no to things you don’t need and will not use. Think before you buy stuff. Think about when it will be used and on which occasion. If you really can’t tell whether you need it or not, don’t buy it.

Cooking is a skill that allows you to save money and enjoy the food that you like. It also can lead to healthier life by eating less salt or sugar. For beginners, all things are difficult before they are easy. However, cooking could easily be developed into a habit for some people because of the sense of achievement and content by simply following the recipes.

Travel is one of the most effective ways to broaden your mind, experience more joy in life, and meet more unexpected opportunities. Whether you are going on a pre-planning trip or not, below are some of the many useful tips that will help you better enjoy your journey.

· If you want to remain hands-free, choose a spacious backpack that holds all your travel essentials in an orderly way.

(2) Always prepare for emergency. There may be bumps and scrapes on the move, especially when you are climbing mountains. It’s great to keep a lightweight yet comprehensive first aid kit in handy for a just-in-case situation.

When you travel abroad and are not familiar with the culture of the destination, apps like Google Translate and Word Lens will help you understand the languages and confusing signs. Apps like WhatsApp, WeChat and Skype help you stay in touch with your families and friends through WiFi or 3G connection. Another popular app, TripAdvisor, offers some amazing advice on hotels, flights, restaurants based on ratings, reviews and recommendations.
